What would you attempt if you knew you could not fail? -Robert Schuller

I was in an experiential self-development program years ago. In one exercise we had a partner and three minutes. Our partner would ask “What do you want?” or “What do you really want?” and we would give an answer. They would keep asking the question over and over increasing the intensity and demanding an answer. Three minutes of that is a long time but just as the three minutes were up the weirdest thing happened. The answer totally changed! Somewhere deep inside of each of us was something we wanted but until that moment we hadn’t realized that we wanted it. Or how badly we wanted it. Since that time I have used that technique on myself. I ask myself regularly, “What do I really want today?” or “What do I really want this week?” or “What do I really want in the next 90 days?” That last one is the one that changes my life most drastically because 90 days is the perfect period of time to make life changing habits.

We only have this one life. Only one chance to get it right! How will you do it in such a way that you will have no regrets? I would encourage you to ask yourself what you really want. Take some time with that question and then ask what changes you could make in the next 90 days to move you toward your true desires.

My mission in life is to empower people. I have learned that until someone has their physical self under control they probably won’t get too far in any other endeavor. And if they do, the price they pay can be disastrous. I know that that sounds self-serving, because I own a fitness business, but that is WHY I own a fitness business. I asked myself, “What do you really want?” and what I really, really want is to help people obtain all that they really want.

At the end of the day, let there be no excuses, no explanations, no regrets.
