  1.  What were your reasons for accepting the Lean for Life Challenge?

This is my fifth challenge, and I asked myself that question at the beginning of the 90 days.  The reasons I took this challenge was to continue focusing on my overall fitness journey, to make sure, as I started training for a marathon, that I am strong all over and not just my legs, and to keep surrounding myself with likeminded awesome people.

  1. What were your successes, obstacles, life changes, etc. during the Challenge?

My successes came early as I was able to exceed my numbers in pushups and planking minutes.  My obstacles came when I started nursing some injuries from overuse when I added longer and longer runs to my overall regimen.  I had to work through mental and physical changes and challenges to stay positive and make good choices for my overall health and to make sure I meet my running goals.  The goals I had for this challenge had to be modified to meet my running goals.  Thankfully I have Jennifer to help me move past the disappointments and really focus on the bigger picture.  With her help and support, I have been able to rework my definition of success and stay on track.
