My reasons for accepting the Lean for Life Challenge were to continue to mentally and physically challenge myself. This will be my third challenge completed. I have never pushed myself physically as hard as I have at Fit Mania. The beautiful thing is that I get done doing a workout smiling. I will continue to do the challenges because I know my biggest competition is myself. Fit Mania has helped me to realize that true success means having the courage, determination, and will to become the person I believe I am meant to be. I know for a fact that Fit Mania and the participation in challenges makes me a happier person and is helping me realize that my talents and abilities can be used in ways to serve others.

My primary goal for this challenge was to look fit and confident on my wedding day. July 9th. Best day ever. The biggest change I made this challenge was my eating habits. I have found that the proper nutrients and frequent meals have boosted my energy levels. I made a goal of food prepping every Sunday for the week. Certain weeks were better than others, as expected. Weeks that are busy are harder for me. I found that when I am stressed out I don’t eat unhealthy necessarily; I just don’t eat much at all. This is now something that I am conscious of and have to continue working on. I am so proud of the changes I have made in my eating and food prep this challenge. The more I continue to successfully meal prep, the more I enjoy it!
